Systems Administration Apprentice
The Opportunity:
Consolidate your entry level IT skills as our new junior network engineer. We require a junior engineer to look after a range of home and small business networks and to provide back up to our senior engineers. As your skills grow, your role will increase to the provision of service for larger networks. The work will be varied, including basic remote and onsite support for small businesses, installation and configuration of PCs, Routers and switches, VPNs and wireless equipment. It will be predominantly home user and introductory router and wireless work but will increase in complexity as quickly as you demonstrate the ability to deal with more technical challenges.
During your first year you would be expected to sit at least 3 Microsoft Exams, for which you will receive $500 per exam sat.
This position would ideally suit a recent graduate of a CCNA program with good general PC knowledge.
Please note this is an Apprentice position through the New Apprenticeship scheme. Applicants with a Cert II/III/IV in Information Technology are not eligible for this position.
